WASHINGTON — A D.C. man is facing charges after police say he shot another man to death in Southeast last month.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 1200 block of Southern Avenue, SE just after 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.
When officers arrived, they found 51-year-old David Coe suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
More than a month later, police announced the arrest of Kyree Hairston, of Southeast. He has been charged with second-degree murder while armed.
