WASHINGTON — DC Police are on the lookout for a man in construction gear after an early Tuesday morning bank robbery in Northwest D.C.
Officers were called to the Capitol One Bank located in the 1700 block of K Street Northwest across from Farragut Square around 9:30 a.m. Public Information Officer Lee Lepe with the Metropolitan Police Department says a man wearing a white utility hat, a florescent green vest, black or gray pants, and gray or green shoes got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Lepe says the man implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was shown.
No injuries were reported.
Anyone who may have information to help investigators should contact police at 202-727-9099 or text MPD's tip line at 50411.
