Adoption fees waived! Here's how you can adopt a pet today with the Humane Rescue Alliance

More than 150 animals are available at the Humane Rescue Alliance right now.

WASHINGTON — The Humane Rescue Alliance is looking for the community's help. The shelter is at full capacity and is looking to place some of its animals in their forever home.

More than 150 animals are available for adoption as of Friday. As an incentive to bring in adopters, the shelter is waiving all adoption fees through Sunday, June 27. Those adoption fees typically range from $10 to $250 depending on the animal.

Those who are not able to adopt can still help in other ways. You can help spread the word by sharing any of the shelter's social media posts. You can also sign up to help temporarily, as a foster parent.

Do we have your attention? Good, we want you to become a foster parent for HRA! You'll get to hang out with an animal in...
