A Taste of the DMV celebrates deliciousness and diversity

The festival showcased the best of the area's culinary, small business and musical offerings.

WASHINGTON — A Taste of the DMV was back for a third year serving up local food, music, art and fun Saturday near the Capitol.

The festival showcased the best of the DMV’s culinary, small business and musical offerings, according to its website.

Over 200 vendors reportedly lined Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd Street and 7th Street, including food trucks, small businesses and booths with something for everyone.

The family-friendly festival featured musical performances across genres on multiple stages throughout the event area. There were also adults-only activities such as mobile bartenders, local breweries and vendors geared toward adults.

Attendees ate, drank and danced from noon to 7 p.m.
