WASHINGTON — Police are investigating four separate shootings that were reported in just three hours across D.C. Wednesday.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shootings left four people, including a juvenile, wounded.

The first shooting happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of Benning Road SE. A man was wounded in the shooting. He was conscious and breathing when first responders took him to an area hospital for help.

About an hour later, police were called to the 2400 block of Elvans Road SE for another shooting. The victim, only identified as a man, was conscious and breathing when he was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Police have since released a video of a man they believed was involved in that shooting:

The third shooting was reported just before 8 p.m. in the 5600 block of 13th Street NW. The victim was only identified as being under 18. He was conscious and breathing when help arrived. It is unclear if the underage victim required treatment at the hospital or not.

The fourth shooting was reported after a wounded man walked into a fire station near the 3900 block of South Capitol Street SW just before 8:30 p.m. He was conscious and breathing when officials took him to an area hospital for help.

None of the shootings have been connected and no suspect information is available at this time.
