Stand-up comedian Taylor Tomlinson to host new CBS late-night show 'After Midnight'

Critically acclaimed stand-up comedian Taylor Tomlinson will be the only woman to host a late-night show on network TV in 2024.

LOS ANGELES — Late-night television’s newest series that debuts on CBS in 2024 officially has a name and a host.

Critically acclaimed comedian Taylor Tomlinson has been announced as the host of CBS’ newest late-night show, “After Midnight.” When Tomlinson takes the reigns in 2024, she will be the only woman to host a late-night show on network television.

Tomlinson, 29, will also make history as the youngest late-night show host on television, by decades.

The comedian is from Southern California, grew up in Temecula, and went to college in San Diego. Tomlinson attended community college in San Diego, then attended CSU San Marcos before dropping out to pursue comedy.

Tomlinson is loved by fans for her Netflix comedy specials and her sell-out shows around the world, including her recent “Have It All Tour.”

The popular stand-up comedian has two specials on Netflix titled, “Look at You” and “Quarter Life Crisis.”

Tomlinson’s new show replaces The Late Late Show with James Corden which held the CBS timeslot from 2015 until 2023.

"The Late Show" host Stephen Colbert, whose show will air prior to Tomlinson’s, is also one of the executive producers for "After Midnight."
