COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) --Two men have been arrested in connection with a February armed robbery inside a University of Maryland residence hall.
Andrew Martin and Daniel Paynter, both of Silver Spring, face multiple charges after UMD police say they broke into Montgomery Hall for a drug-related robbery.
On February 22 around 9:06 p.m., police say Martin, 22, and Paynter, 20, robbed six students inside the residence hall.
Martin was arrested on March 16 and police arrested Paynter 14 days later.
The two men face multiple charges, including first-degree assault, armed robbery and home invasion.
