COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- It's the end of an era in College Park.
Ratsie's Pizza along Route 1 closed Saturday night after 30 years of being in business.
The owner said it is just time to move on.
Ratsie's served its last slice of pizza and some customers came in just because they heard it was closing.
The pizzeria had originally announced it would be closing in September. Saturday's shutdown surprised a lot of customers.
A new international restaurant will take the place of the pizzeria.
