The Cherry Blossom Pop-Up Bar is coming back to DC!
Drink Company, the same company that brought us the Christmas bar and the Game of Thrones bar, will be bringing back their cherry-blossom themed bar for the second year in a row on March 1.
Just like last year’s Mario Bros theme, this year’s pub will contain many Japanese-influenced elements. Yeah, we’re talking Godzilla.
The bar will also be adorned with cherry blossom trees from the ceilings and walls.
According to Drink Company’s website, the drinks will, of course, reflect the theme with drinks from “A God, an alpha predator, Godzilla,” to “There goes Tokyo” to “Cherry Blossom G&T.”
Worried about the wait after hearing the people waited up to 6 hours for the Game of Thrones pub? The pub’s website advises people that weekday waits tend to be shorter and the highest traffic is typically between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Plan accordingly.
The bar opens on March 1 and will run through April 29. It's located at 1839 to 1843 7th Street, NW, Washington, D.C. From Sunday through Thursday, pub is open from 5 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, it opens from 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
