WASHINGTON (WUSA9)-- Tuesday afternoon will be a day that Washington Capitals players and fans will definitely never forget.
The streets were starting to fill up at 8 a.m. on Tuesday as people prepared themselves for the victory parade for the Caps Stanley Cup win.
As our own Diane Roberts was outside of Capital One Arena to catch the players getting on the bus, you could see that the players had two things.
Those were huge smiles and a can of beer.
Those two things are definitely essential on a celebratory day like the victory parade.
If you've been following along with the Caps since they won, you've been able to tell that the party has not stopped for a second.
This is the Caps time, and they are enjoying every bit of this moment.
