It's been about nearly five months since three people were shot and killed inside Bowie, Md. restaurant the Blue Sunday Grill.
For the first time, a brother of one of the victims shared the pain his family has felt since January 29.
Karlief Moye is accused of shooting owners Jin Chen, Zue Zhou, and Sherwood Morgan. Despite the murders, the restaurant reopened in March.
Morgan’s brother Byron Morgan said people are collecting money in his brother's memory, but the family hasn't seen a dime.
"Yes, it's very disturbing, it's like taking a knife and drawing it into an open wound," Morgan said.
Despite everything, the Morgan family remains positive.
"Certainly Sherwood and the two other victims will be remembered for remarkable things they have done, and people will never forget what happened to them," said Morgan.
Moye’s trial is scheduled for August 8th.
