BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA9) --The son of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is among the 110 suspected underage drinkers slapped with alcohol citations at an American University off-campus frat party in January, WUSA9 has learned.

Amir Tyson, 18, is an AU freshman and was among the hundreds who packed the Pi Kappa Alpha house off Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda, Maryland.

Tyson is from Bethesda, graduated from St Andrews Episcopal School in 2015 and is on the American University club baseball team.

WUSA9.com is reaching out to Tyson for comment and will update this story with his response.

When police officers arrived at the fraternity house on January 15, they saw two young men carrying an intoxicated 18 year-old girl to an Uber, so she could be transported to a local hospital for alcohol poisoning. Police called paramedics instead. Sources tell WUSA9 the house was “trashed” by the partygoers, with beer seeping through the floor into the basement.

Tyler Steinhardt, 22, whose name is on the lease, faces 110 counts of providing alcohol to minors. He’s a fourth year student at AU. His classmate, 21 year-old Jamieson Tymann, is charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest after he allegedly punched a Montgomery County Police Officer in the eye and in the chest. Investigators say Tymann was repeatedly asked by police to leave the party, but refused.

Tymann and Steinhardt have District Court dates in Rockville in April and May. Tyson is among the minors scheduled to appear on April 13.
