Anacostia Metro station reopens after report of smoke

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Anacostia Metro station has reopened after smoke was reported at the station.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Anacostia Metro station has reopened after smoke was reported at the station. 

According to Metro, firefighters responded to the station for a report of smoke coming from a mechanical room. The smoke dissipated by the time firefighters had arrived. 

D.C. fire requested that Green Line trains bypass the station while firefighters conducted their investigation.
