ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- Hundreds poured into the 11th annual Alexandria Warehouse sale on Saturday.

It featured dozens of designer items at a fraction of the cost. Most of the boutiques are from Old Town Alexandria and several came from D.C. and Maryland. Shoppers found bargains as much as 80% off.

Many lined up well before the 9 a.m. opening at the Westin in Alexandria.

A lot of shoppers went straight for the shoes. There were children's clothes, Lululemon, jewelry, dresses and sunglasses all marked down.

Deals such as $200 Tori Burch shoes for under $100.

Well over 1,000 shoppers made it out to the shopping extravaganza.

The annual Alexandria Warehouse sale allows local boutiques to be under one room and for shops to clear out their merchandise.

"I have three pairs of boots, one pair for my daughter and two for myself," one shopper said.

There were so many boutiques participating this year, the event moved from the Masonic Temple to the Westin in Alexandria.

If you missed it this year, the sale always takes place the second weekend in February.
