SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WUSA) -- Three people were arrested Wednesday night in Spotsylvania County for allegedly being involved with a Heroin and prostitution ring, police said.
Robert Crawford, 32, Casey Ross, 23 and Amanda Garza, 22 were arrested after undercover detectives found advertisements for prostitutes on Backpage.com.
The undercover detectives contacted Crawford and had him bring two prostitutes and some heroin to a Spotsylavania County hotel, police said.
The three suspects were taken into custody upon arrival at the hotel. Ross and Garza admitted that they were prostitutes and that Crawford was their 'pimp'.
Crawford has been charged with Distribution on Heroin, Pandering and Conspiracy to Pander, Ross has been charged with Prostitution, and Garza was charged with Pandering and Prostitution.Garza was also served on an outstanding warrant from Orange County.
