Winfrey smiles when she describes the girlfriend-like conversations she shares with her grandma she affectionately calls, Nana.
Her troubles began when she tried to make Nana's 85th birthday special by sending her love and a bouquet from 1800Flowers.com.
Despite sending Winfrey an order confirmation, 1800flowers.com failed to deliver Nana's arrangement on her big day.

On her grandmother's birthday, 1800Flowers.com emailed Winfrey saying it "couldn't find a local shop that can fulfill the order."
When Winfrey called about the flower delivery foul up, the company emailed her claiming it issued a full credit.
That $59.98 credit due never came despite a pile of emails and hours on the phone to 1800flowers.com.
After four months and no refund in sight, Winfrey was tired of the refund round and reached out to WUSA9's Call For Action.
"Call for Action took action. Did their job," said Winfrey. "I got my refund only a couple of days after they started making calls."
In a statement, 1800Flowers.com acknowledged an error, apologized and said their policy is to stay in constant contact with customers when there is a foul up on a delivery day.
