WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- DC Health officials suspended a dozen mobile food vendors this week for violations ranging from no hot water to improper operator health training or licensing.

The food trucks and carts are required to pass a new inspection prior to serving customers.
According to District of Columbia Dept. of Health officials the following mobile operations were ordered temporarily closed this week:
- Mediterranean Cuisine #2 – DOH# 12396, no hot water
- Habebe - #DOH 10706, no hot water
- Captain Cookie and The Milk Man – DOH# 10574, no hot water
- Midnite Confections – DOH# 12437, no hot water & expired DOH certificate
- Chick-Fil-A – DOH# 10588, no water
- Curbside Cupcakes – DOH# 11700, no hot water
- Over the Rice – DOH# 10986, no hot water
- Hot dog truck, Quoc Nguy – DOH# 10050, no water
- Hot dog cart, Cha Vo – DOH# 10350, no certified food safety manager
- Ice Cream Truck, Yaya Sidibe – DOH# 10510, no water, expired DOH certificate
- Hot dog cart, Salieu Wurie – DOH# 10280, no hot water
- Hot dog cart, Ethiopia Asreshegn – DOH# 10261, no hot water
