Herndon High School theater director charged with unlawful filming

Police began investigating after a woman found a hidden camera in an air conditioning vent where she was working

HERNDON, Va. — Fairfax County Police arrested Raphael Schklowsky, the theater director at Herndon High School, on charges of unlawful filming at a private home.  

The crime report states "a woman went to the Fair Oaks District Police Station to report she had found a hidden camera in an air conditioning vent at a home where she was working." Detectives investigated and filed charges. 

Schklowsky, 36, of Reston, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of unlawful filming between April 1-4. 

A Herndon parent whose child is in Schklowky's theater class says they were preparing to put on the play "The Sound of Music" at the the end of April. Schklowsky was held at the Adult Detention Center on a $5000 bond.
