For one day, a mother says she didn't have to worry about her son eating lunch by himself after he was joined by Florida State University wide receiver Travis Rudolph.
News outlets report a photo capturing Rudolph and sixth-grader Bo Paske having lunch Tuesday at Tallahassee's Montford Middle School is being circulated on social media.
Rudolph was among several football players visiting the school to meet with students when he saw Bo by himself at a table in the lunch room and asked if he could sit with him.
He says the two had a great conversation, calling Bo a "cool" person whom he'd hang out with any day.
Leah Paske was moved to tears and says she's grateful for the kindness Rudolph showed her son, who has autism and often eats lunch alone.
"This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes," Paske wrote in a Facebook post. "Travis Rudolph thank you so much, you made this momma exceedingly happy, and have made us fans for life!"
