WASHINGTON — The U.S. News & World Report publishes multiple rankings on various topics every year, including several education-focused lists. For the 2024 best public high school in the United States, three DMV schools ranked highly.
The annual ranking released from U.S. News and World Report says its goal is to offer parents a starting point to understand the school's academic performance, and whether the school is the right fit for their student's needs.
The report takes into account 24,000 public schools across all 50 states and D.C. More than 17,000 schools were ranked, and three in our region made the top 100.
