Wise High School closed Friday for power outage

Prince George's County Public Schools announced the closure early Friday morning.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Henry A. Wise High School students get an unexpected three-day weekend thanks to a power outage at the school. Prince George's County Public Schools announced the school closure on social media early Friday. 

The cause of the power outage has not yet been made public. PGCPS was supposed to hold a legislative day at Wise High School beginning at 9 a.m. That has been moved to Duvall High School. 

Additional details were not immediately available.
