HILLCREST HEIGHTS, Md. — A man was shot and killed in Hillcrest Heights Monday evening.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers were called to the 3200 block of Naylor Road shortly after 7 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man outside a liquor store. The man had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital for help in critical condition, but was pronounced dead a short time later. He has since been identified as 31-year-old Daysean Roberts of Temple Hills.
Very little is known about the shooting at this time. Police have not released any information regarding the gunman's description or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
