WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A woman was killed Saturday night after a hit-an-run in Woodbridge, police say.
Officers responded to Minnieville Road and Bobcat Court in Woodbridge at 11:37 p.m. and found an unconscious woman in the roadway, according to Prince William County Police.
Police believe the woman walking in the westbound lane of Minnieville Road, wearing all dark clothing.
The striking vehicle, believed to be an unknown model Hyundai, fled the scene. Carla Andrea Mejia, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact police.
