The woman asked the driver to leave and as they drove away, the driver said they heard three gunshots.

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. — Deputies have arrested a man who allegedly tried to kill a woman, causing her to jump into a delivery truck to get away in Frederick County, Maryland Wednesday afternoon.

According to a release from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office (FCSO), the attack happened just after 3 p.m. in the 10500 block of Daysville Road in Walkersville.

Deputies were called after the unidentified woman jumped into a delivery truck that was backing out of the driveway.
