FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating after a woman was found stabbed multiple times in Hybla Valley Tuesday evening.
According to the Fairfax County Police Department, officers were called to the 2900 block of Arlington Drive just before 6:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a woman near a convenience store who had been stabbed multiple times. The unidentified woman was taken to an area hospital. While very little is known about her condition at this time, police say she is expected to survive her injuries.
Investigators are working to figure out where exactly the stabbing happened.
Police have not released any information regarding the suspect description or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the stabbing.
There is no word on any possible motive at this time.
