WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is looking for information on two suspects seen breaking into a lululemon store after hours and stealing merchandise.
Police say the theft occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning, at around 3:35 a.m. in the 1000 block of F Street Northwest. Surveillance video shared by MPD shows the suspects breaking through the glass door at the clothing store's front entrance with a hammer. The pair then crawl through a hole in the glass.
Both suspects are seen dressed in all black. The pair had their faces covered and appeared to be wearing latex gloves. They were caught on camera stealing the merchandise before fleeing westward on F Street on a red city bike, according to the police report. The value of the stolen merchandise has not been disclosed.
