WASHINGTON — Police are still looking for whoever damaged dozens of cars in the Woodley Park neighborhood on Jan. 26. Investigators say they found at least 50 vehicles with broken windows along 29th Street, Connecticut Avenue, and Calvert Street, Northwest.
On Sunday, the Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance video of two persons of interest in connection to the window smashing spree. Two individuals can be seen on the video smashing windows and using a scooter to get to and from various points.
Crime Solvers of Washington, D.C. currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
Anyone who can identify these individuals or who has knowledge of this spree should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line to 50411.
