Arlington police search for answers in Halloween triple shooting

Two teenagers were hospitalized with critical injuries. Another teen's injuries were described as not life-threatening.

ARLINGTON, Va. — Police are investigating a shooting in Arlington on Halloween night. It left three people hurt. 

According to the Arlington County Police Department, officers were called to the 4300 block of Columbia Pike for reports of a shooting just before 11 p.m. 

When officers arrived on scene, they found three people shot. All three were taken to area hospitals. Two people were said to have critical injuries and a third had injuries not considered life threatening. Police later said all three victims were teenagers, but did not say how old they were.

No information has been released regarding possible suspects.

There is no word on any possible motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
