Puppy stolen at gunpoint while on walk with owner, Prince George's County Police say

Police say the victim was walking Queen when a car pulled up and a suspect wearing a pink ski mask got out and demanded the dog.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Police are asking for the public's help finding a four-month-old puppy that was stolen at gunpoint in Prince George's County.

According to Prince George's County Police, the American Akita named Queen was stolen from her owner in Brentwood around 4:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of 37th Street. 

Police say the victim was walking Queen when a car pulled up and a suspect wearing a pink ski mask got out and demanded the dog. The suspect then drove away in a silver BMW. 

This isn't the first time a dog has been stolen at gunpoint in Prince George's County. In September, a French Bulldog named Alfred was stolen from his ower while on a walk in Capitol Heights.
