TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — Police are asking for help identifying the victim of a deadly hit-and-run this weekend in Temple Hills.
At 8:50 p.m. Saturday, a woman was found in the road after being struck by a vehicle on the 4400 block of Saint Barnabas Road. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said the driver was traveling north on the road near Leisure Drive when he hit the pedestrian woman. The vehicle that hit her fled the scene.
On Monday, police released an image of the white work van believed to have hit the woman. It is either a GMC Sevanna or a Chevy Express, according to police
Prince George's County Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating the deadly crash. Authorities are working to identify the victim and notify her family.
