WASHINGTON — Police are asking for the public's help finding a shooting suspect Tuesday evening.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the 4000 block of Kansas Avenue, Northwest around 4:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot who was not conscious or breathing. He was taken to an area hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police are now on the lookout for a man wearing a black ski mask, a tan hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and was last seen riding away on a black and white motorized scooter.
There is no word on any motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
