Police looking for two men after Southeast shooting

A man was injured in the shooting but police say he is conscious and breathing.

WASHINGTON — Police are searching for two men after a shooting in Southeast left one person injured. 

According to a tweet from D.C. Police, the shooting happened in the 3400 block of 13th Place. A spokesperson for the department tells WUSA9 that the man who was injured in the shooting is conscious and breathing. 

Police are on the lookout for two Black men in connection to the shooting. Investigators believe the men are wearing all black clothing and driving a silver van or SUV. The vehicle was last seen driving away from 13th Place and making a right onto Congress Street in Southeast. 

If you see think you see these suspects, police say to take no action but to call 9-1-1 or (202) 727-9099.
