Authorities investigating suspects that attacked business facilities

The incident occurred in SE DC, and authorities are offering a reward of up to $1000 to anyone who provides information about it.

WASHINGTON — The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a destruction of property reported Sunday May 19, 2024 in the southeastern part of the city. 

In a statement, MPD detectives informed they responded to a business, around 5:04 a.m., located in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, for a destruction of property offense. 

Once on the scene, police learned the suspects "caused damage to the door of an establishment." Subsequently, detectives corroborated the suspects fled the scene.

According to MPD, the suspects were captured by surveillance cameras and these are the released photos:

While the investigation is still active, the identities of the suspects have not been released yet.

Police are receiving tips from anyone who can identify the shown suspects, or who has information leading to their arrest.  If you have relevant information about this incident, please call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. 

As of now, MPD is offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in Washington, D.C
