Police investigate homicide in Prince George's County

There is no word on the identity or age of the man who was killed in the shooting.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A homicide investigation is underway in Prince George's County Wednesday night.

According to a spokesperson from the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD), reports of a shooting came in around 9:10 p.m.

Officers were called to the 6700 block of Walker Mill Road, near Addison Road, to investigate the shooting. When police arrived they found a man had been shot. That man did not survive. 

There is no word on the identity or age of the man that was killed in the shooting. No suspect information has been released by police as of 11 p.m. Wednesday. 

Police have not said what events may have led up to the deadly shooting.
