OXON HILL, Md. — Police are investigating a shooting in Oxon Hill that left two people wounded Monday night.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the shooting happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Kennebec Street.
Upon arrival, officers found two males suffering from gunshot wounds. Their ages are unknown at this time, but one has been identified as an adult and the other a juvenile.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals. The juvenile was seriously wounded with critical injuries. The man is expected to survive.
No suspect descriptions have been released at this time. Police have not said anything about possible motives or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
