WASHINGTON — Detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public's help identifying and locating suspects involved in a violent home invasion and burglary in Southwest D.C. Thursday night.
Around 7 p.m. Dec. 15, police say three suspects forced their way into a home in the 100 block of Irvington Street, Southwest. Once inside, the suspects pulled out a gun, assaulted the victim, took the victim's puppy and property then fled the scene.
The dog, named "Deemo," is described as a 5-week-old American Bulldog puppy, who is brown with grey eczema patches.
Police provided an image of a dog similar to Deemo as well as a photo of one of the suspects captured by a nearby surveillance camera to the public. These images can be seen below:

MPD will hold a press conference Friday to provide an update on this incident.
In the meantime, anyone who can identify these individuals or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
