Police investigate gas station burglary

Unable to gain entrance through the front, police say the suspects forced entry through the front glass window.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — The Prince William County police are investigating a burglary at a gas station.

On Thursday, officers responded to calls from an employee at a Mobil Gas Station located in Potomac Mills just after 8 a.m.

Employees showed officers surveillance video of four masked suspects pulling up to the front of the store and pulling on the door just after 12:30 a.m.

Unable to gain entrance through the front, the suspects forced entry through the front glass window. When officials began their investigation, they found the bathroom door was damaged and a swastika had been drawn onto a nearby snow-covered car.

Money and tobacco were also stolen from the gas station.

If you have any information about this burglary, you’re asked to call police at 703-792-7000.
