WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after two people were shot in Northwest D.C. Friday evening.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened in the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest shortly before 6:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they learned a man and woman had been shot. Very little is known regarding their conditions but police say both were conscious and breathing when help arrived.
Police are now on the lookout for a man wearing dark clothes with white shoes. He is driving a white vehicle that was last seen going south on Georgia Avenue, Northwest.
