WASHINGTON — Police have released surveillance video of a man wanted for attempting to commit sexual abuse in Northeast, D.C. in hopes of having the public's help identifying him.
On Sunday, Dec. 31, at 3:30 a.m., police say the man seen in the video below pushed a victim to the ground in the 700 block of 6th Street, Northeast. Investigators say the man assaulted the victim with the intent to commit sexual abuse.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s, 5-foot-10, and weighing 180-220 pounds. He has short hair and is clean-shaven with a large mole on his face. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Anyone who can identify this person or who has knowledge of the attempted sexual abuse should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line to 50411.
