SILVER SPRING, Md. — A man wanted for an attempted sexual assault that happened in a Silver Spring home was arrested for the crime on Wednesday.
Officers with the Montgomery County Department of Police say that 27-year-old Christopher Love has been accused of entering a home on Second Avenue, off of 16th Street, on April 23, where he physically assaulted a woman. He then allegedly attempted to sexual assault her.
Love was located on Lockwood Drive, off of New Hampshire Avenue, on Wednesday and was taken into custody. Police say he is facing charges of attempted first-degree rape, home invasion, first and second-degree assault, and third-degree sex offense.
He is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
