WASHINGTON — Police are searching for the people responsible for stabbing and injuring a man in Southeast D.C. Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to Savannah Street Southeast, off of 15th Street Southeast, around 11 a.m. after a report of a stabbing. The victim, identified solely as a man, was located conscious and breathing.
Through an investigation, it was determined that the people accused of being involved in the stabbing were last seen on the 3400 block of 15th Street Southeast, just a short distance away from where the crime reportedly happened. Police say they are looking for a man who was wearing a black hoodie and black t-shirt and the other man was wearing all black with lime green gloves.
No information has been released about what might have led up to the stabbing. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
