PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating after a man was shot to death inside a sportswear store Thursday evening.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the shooting happened inside a Foot Locker in the 3700 block of Branch Avenue.
Officers were called to the area shortly before 6 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot inside the store. The man died at the store.
The man killed has not yet been identified, however, police have confirmed to WUSA9 that the victim does not appear to be a worker at the store.
No information has been released regarding the shooter at this time.
There is no word on motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
