TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — Police have arrested a man in connection to a deadly shooting that occurred in Temple Hills back in July.

Investigators have charged 23-year-old Damonte Isaiah Harris with the murder of 30-year-old James Page.

On July 2, just before 3 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on Old Branch Avenue. Once there, officers found a man inside a home who had been shot. He was pronounced dead.

Investigators say Harris shot Page over an ongoing dispute. They both knew each other. There is no word yet as to what the two were arguing over.

Following the shooting, Harris ran away. He was located Thursday afternoon and taken into custody where he was charged with first-and-second degree murder. Police say he is being held without bond.
