Man breaks into 3 Woodbridge restaurants in the same night, police say

The burglaries happened at restaurants along Minnieville Road on August 10

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Three Woodbridge Virginia businesses are recovering after a man reportedly broke into their stores and stole cash all in the same night.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, The burglaries happened at restaurants along Minnieville Road on August 10

Investigators say around 3:30 a.m. a man forced himself through the front glass doors of Kababayan Filipino Kitchen, Afghan Grill Kabob and Tazo Pizza.

Tazo Pizza employees told WUSA9 that their restaurant's surveillance cameras captured the burglar moments before he broke in and stole money from their tip jar and cash register. Kababayan Filipino Kitchen employees also told WUSA9, the suspect stole money from their tip jar as well.

A few doors down at Afghan Grill, the owner said the man broke in but no money was taken.

Tazo Pizza workers said it’s the second time someone has broken in. They’d like more patrolling from local police.

"Right now everyone is suffering from slow sales and we don’t have money to repair things fast, but the safety is the main concern," said one worker. "If we can get safety from police so it doesn’t happen again.”

Police said the man was last seen wearing a white mask, black jacket and white gloves. If you have any information, contact the Prince William County Police Department.
