CENTREVILLE, Va. β A man has been taken into police custody after allegedly shooting at another car Saturday morning in Centreville, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Officers responded to the intersection of Centerville Road and Compton Road for reports of shots fired around 9:30 a.m. Their investigation leads them to believe the man they have in custody fired shots at another car on the road during what they called a "road rage incident." No one was injured.
Police said they found a gun inside the car of the man they took into custody, which can be seen in the photo below.
According to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, by FCPD, the man is being held at the county's adult detention center, but as of 11:30 a.m., he had not yet been booked.
No other details have been released yet.
