Police arrest man accused of touching victims inappropriately in Southeast DC

In each offense, police say the man touched his victims without their consent.

WASHINGTON — A man is under arrest for the sexual abuse of two victims in Southeast, D.C., police say. 

Robert Jermaine Howard, 46, was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement. 

In each assault, police say Howard engaged in unwanted sexual contact with the victims. Here is when and where the assaults occurred according to police: 

  • On Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at 6:33 p.m. near the intersection of 13th Street and Southern Avenue, SE.
  • On Tuesday, April 30, just before 1 p.m., near the intersection of 8th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
