WOODBRIDGE, Va. — After a three-month-long investigation, a man has been arrested for a sweeping drug operation that spanned two Virginia counties.
Woodbridge resident Stewart L. Skinner III, 33, was arrested by the state police’s Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force.
Investigators searched homes in both Culpeper and Prince William counties on Sept. 26 and 29 and found 2857 grams of Fentanyl in the form of approximately 25,000 pills, two handguns, a rifle and $26,363 in cash. Police say one of the handguns was stolen from Manassas.
Skinner has been charged with maintaining a fortified drug house, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I/II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of an automatic firearm.
Skinner is currently being held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, where he was taken after his arrest.
