RESTON, Va. — A man previously arrested for allegedly following a mother and her daughter around a store, before inappropriately touching the 7-year-old and taking a photo of her, is now facing more charges.
Earlier this month, 25-year-old Arturo Elmore-Adon was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery and unlawful creation of an image of another under 18.
The events unfolded at a store in Reston when a 7-year-old girl and her mother were in a store along South Lakes Drive. Elmore-Adon is accused of then touching the child inappropriately and taking a picture of her without consent.
At around 10:30 p.m., police say 25-year-old Arturo Elmore-Adon began following the pair. While he ran away before the police arrived, he was arrested two days later.
The same day Elmore-Adon was arrested, police searched his home and reportedly found explicit child abuse materials on multiple devices. He is now facing 15 counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Elmore-Adon remains at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
