WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a juvenile was shot in Southeast D.C. Tuesday evening.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened just after 5:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Barnaby Street, Southeast.
When officers arrived, they found a boy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was conscious and breathing when taken to an area hospital for help.
No suspect description has been released at this time.
There is no word on any possible motive or what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
