Wanted robbers caught on surveillance camera dancing, video shows

If you recognize anyone in the video, give police a call.

WASHINGTON — D.C. Police just released surveillance video of a group of wanted people involved in an assault and robbery last month. The video shows the suspects dancing in the street, and one of them appears to be waving a knife. 

The assault and robbery happened last month on Oct. 9. Police say that around 6:45 p.m. the group approached a person, attacked and robbed them in the 1300 block of 19th Street, Northwest. That's not far from the Heurich House Museum in Dupont Circle. 

Police did not say what the group took, or how seriously the victim was hurt in the assault. Video of the four dancing suspects can be seen below.

If you recognize any of the people in the video, you're asked to contact police at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411. Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in this case. Reference case number 24-156-745.
